The Wild One

Taken in 2020 in Eminence, MO. This small band of wild horses, approximately 20, roams the lands surrounding the Current and Jack’s Fork Rivers in Shannon County, Missouri.  The horses have been running free for over 100 years. These horses are believed to have originated mainly from domestic animals that were freed during the Depression years due to the inability of the farmers to feed them. Only 200 total prints are available for these sizes: 11 x 14, 16 x 20, 20 x 24.  Only 25 total prints are available for these sizes: 20 x 30, 24 x 36, 30 x 45, 38 x 48, larger per request. Once the maximum prints are made this image will be retired for life.  If there is another image you are interested in that is not listed, or for larger print sizes please feel free to reach out to me at Jack@jackcurranphotography.com Photo © copyright by Jack Curran Please Note: Due to the archival print quality we hold for all prints, it will likely take between 7-21 days for your print to arrive. Each print undergoes rigorous quality testing to ensure it is up to archival standards (meaning the prints are crafted to be able to be placed in a museum for many years). Expect closer to 21 days if it was framed, and 7-10 if it was just rolled or matted.
