The Weapon

The City of Champions has a new contender  For twenty-something years, Cian lived an ordinary life. Then his heritage awakened. Then his enemies noticed. Then everything went to hell. A dragon's natural charisma or something more? Cian’s supernatural family grows stronger by the day. Vampires who should drain him, shifters who should fear him, a necromancer who should kill him. Together they're rewriting every rule the magical world lives by. Someone really doesn't like that. Someone with the power to do something about it. The enemy hides behind proxies and pawns. Mercenaries who shouldn't know about dragons arrive with specialized weapons. Vampires and shifters who've been enemies for centuries suddenly coordinate attacks. Government agencies that monitor magic turn blind eyes to obvious violations. Ancient forces stir. Old agreements shatter. One goddess reaches out from her prison. Another goddess watches from shadows, waiting for Cian to fulfill a blood-soaked bargain. The supernatural world has rules. Dragons were meant to break them. Patrick Michael
