Stepping back from the acrimony that sometimes accompanies environmental discussion - yet still recognizing the passionate side of the discourse- the film delves into information that bears on the issue.  Scientists, advocates, farmers and others provide context for an on-going consideration of ecological priorities in the region - concluding that some problems are in urgent need of resolution. The film does not attempt to provide solutions.  Instead, while hinting at some, it offers an informative and engaging foundation for an intelligent exchange of ideas on a topic of considerable importance. Definitely worth seeing." -Julian Gray "This issue, among other environmental concerns, has been on my heart for a long time. I come from Los Angeles, where the river that flows through that city was channelized by the Army Corps of Engineers back in the 1930s. It's a shadow of what it used to be, but there is a movement afoot to restore the river to its former glory. The Fraser should be a far easier remediation, but as many in the video pointed out, they're struggling against industrial interests and "pro-growth" advocates whose focus on short-term profit blinds them to the larger reality of what they're doing. I've had many discussions with people who have this attitude over the years, and they simply don't understand the necessity of protecting our water resources. That's why films like yours are crucial." -Robert Rabello "This film clearly demonstrates why saving the Fraser river should be a priority for every Canadian. The personal stories from all manner of people enjoying the fruits of the Fraser combined with gorgeous cinematography, make me want to travel across the Canadian prairies to the west coast and experience the beauty for myself."  -Amanda McPherson  Produced and Directed by Jocelyn Demers Narrator: Eric Keenleyside 68 minutes | 2017
