The War Zone (cover art)

By: Pepe Moreno, 1985 Title: "The War Zone" (Short Stories graphic novel cover), Special USA (1985 France). Other publishers include 1984, Totain (Spain), Comic Art (Italy), Heavy Metal (USA).  This was the original intended cover art and title, but both were altered for the European version of the graphic novel. I had fun with this image, and it’s somewhat of a classic in my work history. I realize that I always design for effect and drama, and once again, the colors take on a life of their own.
