The Walking Dead #114 (Image Comics 2013)

The Walking Dead #114 marks a critical turning point in Robert Kirkman’s serialized zombie narrative, focusing on the explosive “What Would Jesus do?” storyline that forces the survivors to negotiate with an armed religious colony. Published by Image Comics in 2013, this monthly installment features the credited writing of Robert Kirkman alongside artwork by Charlie Adlard and coloring by Cliff Rathburn. The narrative examines community governance and territorial disputes after a fortified neighborhood establishes strict operational codes under a unified doctrine. Michonne tracks her son Seth through controlled checkpoints while Rick coordinates tactical and diplomatic responses to an unfamiliar ideological threat that challenges the existing alliance hierarchy. Collectors and dedicated readers prioritize this issue because it fundamentally shifts power dynamics within the post-crisis settlements and introduces long-standing factions that dictate subsequent plot progression. As a direct print from the original 2013 distribution cycle, it carries the initial $2.99 cover price designation and maintains the consistent editorial formatting established by the publishing team. Whether you are completing a full volume tracking character development or acquiring a standalone edition that balances strategic planning with urgent movement sequences, this release delivers the precise narrative escalation the series is recognized for.
