The Thirteenth Floor

Texture: K slay jiggly + microsequin topper Scent: Inspired by a haunted hotel (an eerie blend of vanilla, crawling ivy, and antique furniture) The tale of the 13th floor... There is an old story among the hotel staff about the elevator stopping on the thirteenth floor, even though the hotel has only twelve. It happens without warning, usually late at night, and when only one guest is in the elevator alone. The elevator will rise past the twelth floor, then stop abruptly, the doors will open, and for a moment the passenger will find themselves facing a long, dimly lit hallway. There is no illuminated floor number above the elevator doors, and no thirteenth-floor button on the elevator panel. Most guests wait for the doors to close and continue on their way. But years ago, one guest stepped out. The hallway was quiet and unfamiliar, with faded old carpeting and a row of closed doors stretching into the darkness. He had only walked a few steps when he heard footsteps approach behind him. At first, they were slow. Then they grew faster. He turned and saw nothing, but the footsteps continued, coming closer with every step. He ran back toward the elevator, the sound following close behind him. Just before he reached the doors, they opened. He threw himself inside, and the doors closed as the footsteps reached the elevator. When the doors opened again, he was standing in the hotel lobby.
