The Thames & Kosmos Microscope

Travel deep into the microscopic realm! With this high-quality student microscope, Thames & Kosmos unlocks wonders of the world that are too small to see with the naked eye. Plus, the universal smartphone adapter lets you use your own smartphone camera to capture photos and videos of your observations to document and share. Start your journey by learning to use the microscope to view the three prepared slides. Then, learn how to use the 45-piece accessory set to prepare your own collected specimens for viewing under the microscope. What will you discover? The microscope’s 15x ocular lens, or eyepiece lens, works together with the three objective lenses, resulting in a total magnification power of 60x, 150x, or 600x. The microscope has a battery-powered LED light to illuminate the specimens. The kit includes slides, cover slips, and many tools for collecting and preparing specimens. The included instruction manual guides you through using the microscope and the tools. The smartphone adapter is very flexible and works with virtually any smartphone.
