The Takeoff (1 of 25 Limited Edition)

The Story A three-frame composite photograph showing a single Brown Pelican transitioning from floating on calm water to spreading its wings and taking flight during a golden hour sunset. The Location Captured in the Potomac River via boat on a fishing trip with his father, this image was composited to display a progression that few get to see. Artist's Perspective "I shot this sequence from a kayak at water level — three frames showing the full takeoff progression from rest to flight. Assembling them into a single panoramic composition lets you study the biomechanics of how a pelican launches itself. It's both art and documentation." — Ryan Lott Curator's Recommendation The ultra-wide panoramic format makes this piece designed for expansive wall spaces above mantels, sofas, or long hallways. Available as a fine art paper print or archival-quality framed canvas in white or black. As a limited edition of 25, this piece is positioned as a collector-grade investment.
