The Swimmer At Dawn

“The Swimmer at Dawn” by Ocean Eversley©2025 She enters the sea before language wakes, before the gulls scatter their cries across the sky. The water greets her with a shiver of truth— a reminder that courage begins where the shore ends. No witness but the wind and the dawn, she move through the ocean’s blue hush. Perhaps for sport, or health, or the quiet devotion to something wordless yet whole— a rhythm that steadies the heart. Perhaps she began when stillness felt too small, when the world pressed in too close. Now, each morning, she returns— to claim her strength again, and rise with the sea’s pulse inside them. Sharks might circle in the deep unseen, but she does not flinch. Her heart is fluent in faith, her limbs fluent in letting go, her soul fluent in tide. By sunrise she is almost indistinguishable from the sea— light slips over her like memory, the horizon folds her into itself. She swims to stay connected to the ocean's eternal breath.   Prices are in USD $ Giclée Stretched Canvas Print Giclee print on museum quality 410gsm polycotton canvas.
