The Study Mahjong Mat

Free shipping included Ready to ship! The Study Mat pairs rich tortoiseshell with deep hunter green for a look that feels collected, tailored, and timeless. The center features a realistic leather-texture appearance, lending the playing surface the look of finely grained leather and adding depth to the rich green hue. Gilded gold detailing traces the architectural border, bringing just the right amount of polish to its warm, moody palette. Equal parts private library and after-dinner mahjong, The Study was designed for a table with character. This is a classic 33.5x33.5 inch mat in a high quality and durable neoprene fabric with a rubber backing. It is 2mm thick. The tiles will slide smoothly across without and wrinkling of the mat. The rubber backing keeps it firmly in place and flat. This style of mat also reduces the noise of the Mahjong tiles. It is easily foldable or rolled. Easily cleaned as well. Spot cleaning recommended initially but can be washed on delicate or cold cycle then laid flat to dry. Mat will arrive rolled not folded. Great for other table games like Canasta, Rummikub and Bunko.
