The Short Guy Guard by Alec Baulding

If you’re the shorter athlete in the room, you already know the challenge: longer legs, longer frames, and longer grips can make guard feel like an uphill battle. In Short Guy Guard, ADCC East Coast Trials Champion and multiple-time IBJJF Black Belt gold medalist Alec Baulding shares the exact system he’s refined over the past four years to turn that disadvantage into your biggest weapon. This isn’t theory. It’s a battle-tested blueprint designed specifically for shorter grapplers who want to build a dominant guard from the seated position — without relying on length or flexibility. Alec breaks down how to efficiently enter powerful guard configurations against larger, longer opponents and control distance on your terms. Whether you compete at the highest level or simply want a guard system that actually works for your frame, Short Guy Guard gives you a clear path to control, sweep, and submit from the bottom.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Check Out a Free Sample:   What Will You Learn?
