The story and the artwork both brings a smile and teaches a lesson; it accomplishes this for us and our son. For decades, there has been research on the importance of teaching emotional intelligence to children as early as possible. As new parents, we wondered how to do this and instill values such as openness, mindfulness, and acceptance (of yourself and of others). Andrew Newman's book series accomplishes this beautifully wrapped in delightful artwork and wonderful stories with a lesson." RichM, Parent.
