The Right Pie Dish

The pie dish that does the work of two. Most pie dishes ask you to choose between a shallow tart and a deep fruit pie. This one doesn't. At 2.6 inches deep with 1.7‑quart capacity, it holds enough filling for a generous double-crust apple pie or a quiche thick enough to slice like a wedge of cake — without the spillover that flatter dishes invite. The details Crafted from Emile Henry's HR Ceramic® — a proprietary high-resistance formula developed in Marcigny, France, where the company has been firing Burgundian clay since 1850. HR Ceramic insulates and distributes heat evenly, so crusts brown without burning, custards set without weeping, and the bottom of your pie doesn't go soggy. The graceful ruffled edge, inspired by vintage French bakeware, isn't just decorative — it makes for cleaner slicing and a tidier hand-off when you serve. The 10.25-inch outer diameter fits standard 9-inch crust recipes with margin to spare for a high-edged crimp or lattice top. Goes straight from freezer to a 500°F oven without flinching. Dishwasher safe, microwave safe, scratch-resistant glaze. Handcrafted in Marcigny since 1850. 10-year manufacturing guarantee.
