Heavily inspired by the cut and functionality of a vintage French chore coat, this piece can be worn as a button down top or a light jacket. Made from a circa 1960's quilt we found that was constructed of colorful printed scraps, it has 4 functional front pockets and vintage buttons at the front closure and cuffs. Fully lined. Constructed entirely of vintage and pre-existing materials. This garment was not designed for a specific gender or body. Material: Vintage patchwork quilt, assorted repurposed buttons, 100% recycled thread Measurements: Shoulders: 18” / chest: 48” / length: 29” / sleeve: 24” Because the fabrics used to construct this garment are vintage and have lived a previous life, as well as the handmade nature of its renewal, small imperfections, signs of age, wear, and variations in the material are to be expected and embraced.
