Luna Stone Boost 18

PUSHING YOUR TONE BEYOND BLISSFUL BEAUTY. The Gold-Award-Winning ‘The Pusher’ was our sole, clean booster for years. And guitarists everywhere praised it for its delicious and musical tone. If there was one thing that it needed – just a little – it was that extra notch of clean boost. Well, we listened – and now we’ve fixed it! Our new Boost 18 that shares the same small footprint and flavorful tone will now step up and take The Pusher’s place. The Pusher offered 15 dB of clean boost, and as the name suggests Boost 18 adds another three clicks to the party with its 18 dB of clean boost. Quite simply, Boost 18 will deliver even more of all the good stuff that The Pusher did. It has the same sonic flavor, clarity and compression, and goes all the way from unity gain at minimum, to 18dB at max. Further, we have also improved the taper to give a smoother and more linear feel when you dial in the amount of Boost Level. Clean but flavorful Boost 18 may be a clean booster, but it’s definitely not just a neutral active volume pedal. Our founder and Head Engineer, Steen Grøntved, has deliberately tweaked it to add flavor to your tone, and as a result, we have seen many players who actually use The Pusher as an always-on preamp pedal, simply because they love the natural tube-like sound of it. Now you can continue to do so with Boost 18, but also get an additional kick upwards when using it for boosting. Whether you want to push your tube amp into natural overdrive, or just need to lift your solos above the band, Boost 18 always deliver that truly sought-after clean goodness! Where other boosters just make you louder, Boost 18 takes a more refined approach to boosting by enhancing and focusing the tonal spectrum right where your guitar lives. Turn it on and instantly hear your tone stand out with renewed clarity, definition and punch as if you were pushing the tubes of a high-headroom amp, making it perfect for beefing up clean rhythm parts or making melody lines stand out. But hey, if you just want to use it as an always-on tone enhancer we definitely won’t blame you! Drive your drives even harder However, if you wanna get dirty though (and we know you do!) Boost 18 is the obvious choice for taking your tone from driven to blissfully wild. Crank it and slam it in front of your favorite drive pedals, or feed it straight into your already overdriven amp and get ready to hit the crowd with everything plus the kitchen sink. From crunchy blues rhythms to hard-hitting power chords and sizzling solos, Boost 18 will give you exactly what you bargained for. Now add True Bypass switching to the mix, so your core tone never gets corrupted, and you’ve stepped onto your new favorite sonic tool and secret gem.
