The Psychopomps Oracle

The Psychopomps Oracle From Darkness to Light with Soul Guides By Tiffany Lazic | Art by Fabio Listrani Across cultures and mythologies, psychopomps appear as guides who cross the boundaries between life and death. The Psychopomps Oracle brings together 44 of these deities and spirits in an oracle deck designed for shadow work, healing, transformation, and navigating periods of profound change. Rather than focusing only on their traditional roles surrounding death and the afterlife, author Tiffany Lazic explores the psychopomps as guides through life's metaphorical thresholds as well. Their stories and symbolism become tools for moving through uncertainty, grief, fear, transition, and the process of releasing what no longer serves you. The deck draws from multiple cultural traditions and includes figures such as Hekate, Persephone, Freya, the Morrigan, Demeter, Medusa, Dionysus, the Banshee, Heimdall, and many others. The psychopomps are organized according to their roles as Threshold Keepers, Gatherers, Rescuers, Visitors, Comforters, Harbingers, and Master Healers. The accompanying guidebook explores the mythology or story of each figure along with associated keywords and symbols. Each card also provides a divinatory message for applying that psychopomp's particular wisdom to shadow work and personal transformation.
