Our Patented Training Gloves

The only glove invented to naturally position your thumb over your fingers, helping reduce injury and build correct punching mechanics. Traditional boxing gloves leave room for bad habits. Poor fist alignment, misplaced thumbs, and unnecessary strain on your hands. This glove was built differently. By guiding your hand into a natural, structurally sound fist position, it helps reinforce proper form every time you punch.   Built for: Beginners learning how to punch correctly Fitness boxing & cardio classes Self-defense training Athletes focused on technique and hand safety   We feel that these are the best gloves for MMA, self-defense, or fitness boxing because they're the only training gloves invented to guide your hand into the optimal fist position, and grab. Self defense fitness boxers can condition themselves to automatically form a proper closed fist because that's how you're going to be fighting. Fighters with bad hands or joints can now enjoy the structural stability of a closed fist because a proper fist lessens impact on the hands and joints.  MMA fighters can make a fist just like on fight night and also combine striking and ground work (without exposed fingers) so training will resemble a fight in the clinches. "Strikes with a loosely formed fist or with improper alignment of the wrist are more likely to result in injury to the metacarpals or carpal bones." From the study “Protective buttressing of the hominin face” (Carrier et al., 2012) published in Biological Reviews: “The proportions of the human hand allow the formation of a clenched fist in which the fingers fold tightly against the palm and the thumb locks across the distal phalanges. This configuration buttresses the hand and may protect the metacarpals during striking.” “The ability to form a fist was a selective advantage in male–male competition because it improved striking performance while protecting the hand from injury.” From the study "Epidemiology of Hand Injuries in Boxing" (Zazryn et al., 2003) published in British Journal of Sports Medicine: “Hand and wrist injuries were the most common injuries in both professional and amateur boxing, suggesting that despite protective equipment, the hand remains vulnerable.”       Why It Matters: A Fighter’s Story: “After over 20 years in boxing, the worst injuries I sustained weren’t to my face or ribs, they were to my hands and joints. Eventually, the pain got so bad, I couldn’t even hit the heavy bag, a core part of my training and one of the things I loved most.” The Properfist Glove was created out of that experience to protect the most important tools a fighter has: their hands.
