The Perfect Case, Uncorked!

This promotional poster for the 12th Annual High Museum Atlanta Wine Auction captures the sophisticated intersection of fine wine and visual arts in early 2000s Atlanta. The striking illustration depicts an elegantly dressed woman in flowing red attire, perched atop wooden wine cases while contemplatively raising a glass of red wine. The Art Deco-influenced design employs a refined palette of burgundy, tan, and lavender-gray that evokes both the warmth of aged wine and the polished atmosphere of a museum gala. The clever tagline 'The Perfect Case. Uncorked.' plays on the dual meaning of wine cases and legal arguments, while the stacked boxes feature decorative wood-grain patterns suggesting fine wine storage. Corporate sponsors including Turner, SouthTrust Bank, Lenox Square, and Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles are credited along the bottom, documenting the Atlanta business community's support for cultural philanthropy. A charming piece of Southern cultural ephemera, this poster represents the growing wine culture of the early 2000s and the High Museum's successful tradition of combining art appreciation with charitable fundraising. An excellent addition for collectors of wine memorabilia, Atlanta history, or contemporary commercial illustration. Size: 36.0" x 24.0" Condition: Very Good, Age-appropriate wear, fading and toning.
