The Moon

Original Artwork by Jennifer Nguyen Ink and Pencil on Paper 9” x 11” Framed    Artwork 5x7 Jennifer Nguyen is a self-taught illustrator based just outside of Los Angeles. As a shy only-child growing up, most of her time was spent finding ways to relieve herself of boredom and loneliness. This involved a lot of observing, a lot of imagining, and a lot of doodling. Echoes of this upbringing can be seen in her art today. She likes drawing celestial objects. Things with celestial patterns on them basking under a crescent moon, or critters doing their thing under a really big sun. She also makes heavy use of repeating patterns and textures in these works to hopefully convey the wavy gauziness of light.    Please note that due to everyone’s monitor displaying differently, the colors you see may vary.
