In The Moment After, the wave has already folded. Foam gathers along the shoreline while the water begins smoothing back into the tide. The sky still carries the warmth of sunset, reflecting softly through the shallow water. It’s the quiet that follows the movement. Painted in Montauk in 2026. Companion Piece This painting was created alongside a companion work titled “The Moment Before.” While each painting stands beautifully on its own, the two pieces can also be displayed together to extend the quiet narrative of the wave — from the rising crest to the release that follows. If you’d like to view the companion painting, you can see it here: View The Moment Before → DETAILS: MEDIUM: Oil on Canvas SIZE: 12x24inches YEAR: 2026 SIGNATURE: Signed on the front with last name and on the back with title, name and year INSTALLATION: wired and ready to hang FRAMING: Unframed Certificate of Authenticity: Included Please Note: Colors may vary slightly due to screen displays.
