Sweetened with raw honey and coconut nectar. Flavored with organic wild blueberries, strawberries, and raspberry — no artificial flavors, no natural flavor systems. Bound and textured without any processed fibers or gums. Built for people who want a protein bar that tastes genuinely good, digests easily, and is made from ingredients the human body recognizes. Why it exists: The protein bar category has over 10,000 SKUs — and most share the same core problems: low-quality protein sources, sugar alcohols, gums, emulsifiers, seed oils, and ultra-processed binders. A recent peer-reviewed study of more than 1,600 protein bars found many were low in protein quality and bioavailability. The Lineage Bar was built to be the exception: highest proportion of animal-derived ingredients, lowest processing load in the category, and verified protein quality rather than an inflated number. What makes it different: Protein quality — not just protein quantity: Verified Grass-Fed Whey Protein Concentrate & 100% Grass-Finished Collagen.  No ultra-processed fibers or binders: Competitors use agave inulin (extracted and refined from agave — many people cannot tolerate more than 2–3g before experiencing gas), tapioca fiber (a refined carbohydrate fraction from cassava), or soluble corn fiber. Lineage uses coconut nectar — the raw sap of the coconut tree — as both a binder and a gentle sweetener. It functions the way a real-food binder would in your own kitchen. Gut-friendly by design: No sugar alcohols (like erythritol) or rare sugars (like allulose). No gums (guar, xanthan, locust bean). No emulsifiers (sunflower or soy lecithin). No inulin. No fiber bombs. These are the ingredients most commonly responsible for bloating, cramping, and GI discomfort in protein bars. Removing them entirely is a formulation choice, not a compromise. Real sweetness from real food: Raw honey provides polyphenols, enzymes, and a lower glycemic impact when paired with protein and fat. Coconut nectar contributes minerals and gentle sweetness without refined sugar. Total sugar per bar: 9g — equivalent to roughly one tablespoon of honey. Lower than every real-food competitor in the category (Jacob: 10g, Prima: 14g). Ancestral fat source: 100% grass-fed and finished beef tallow is the fat source — never seed oils. Tallow provides fat-soluble nutrients, supports a clean blood sugar curve, and delivers stable, satisfying energy. The bar's tallow carries an omega-6 to omega-3 ratio of 1.3:1 — reflective of a genuinely clean, grass-fed supply chain. Flavor from food, not flavor systems: The berry flavor comes exclusively from organic wild freeze-dried blueberries, organic freeze-dried strawberries, organic lemon juice, and organic raspberry extract. No "natural flavors." No flavor systems. No fruit powders stripped of their matrix. Wild blueberries are native to the Pacific Northwest and Canada — not planted and commercially managed, but harvested from natural bush settings free of agrochemicals. Collagen for more than protein count: The collagen in the bar isn't just a cheap protein filler — it contributes Types I and III collagen, supporting joints, tendons, skin elasticity, and gut lining integrity. This is structural nutrition layered into the protein profile rather than a macro trick. Best for: On-the-go protein, post-workout recovery, between-meal satiety, kids lunchboxes, dessert alternative, travel, everyday real-food snacking, people replacing conventional protein bars How to use: Pre-workout (30–60 min before), post-workout (within 30 min), between meals, kids snack, or as a dessert alternative. No usage limit. Storage note: Natural color variation may occur over time due to Maillard reactions between honey and whey protein — a normal indicator of real-food ingredients, not a quality issue. Texture may firm slightly over time as honey interacts with moisture (a natural process, similar to how real fruit changes texture). Store in a cool, dry place. FAQ: Why whey concentrate instead of isolate? Isolates are more heavily processed and lower in naturally occurring micronutrients. WPC retains more of the protein's natural fat and micronutrient profile — more food-like, less supplement-like. I'm sensitive to dairy — can I eat this? Many people react to lactose, gums, or emulsifiers in dairy products, not whey itself. WPC contains significantly less lactose than whole milk, and the bar contains no gums, emulsifiers, or common dairy irritants. Individual responses vary. 100% money-back guarantee if it doesn't work for you. Why is there 9g of sugar if it's "clean"? The sugar comes from raw honey and coconut nectar — real food sources with polyphenols, enzymes, and minerals. This is the equivalent of about one tablespoon of honey per bar. Bars with 0g sugar achieve that via artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols, which are harder on digestion. Why are the berries wild? Wild blueberries grow natively without being planted or conventionally managed. They carry a broader phytochemical profile than farmed varieties and are harvested free of agrochemicals from the Pacific Northwest and Canada. What is the money-back guarantee? If you don't think this is the best-tasting protein bar you've tried, Lineage offers a 100% refund, no questions asked.
