My adult mind noticed that Starhawk remains true to her vision of the wonderful Goddess and this beautiful Earth. Like all children's tales this story has a moral: at the end, people will always go for the best because it's better than the least, and that's good for all. Starhawk's words appeal, Lindy Kehoe's pictures are pretty and draw you in. This ethereal book is a very clever endeavor." "I bought this book as a birthday present for my 4 year old nephew. My father has informed me that he loved it and insisted his “Opa” read it to him while his mother (my sister) was at a late staff meeting, which my father did. 2/3 of the way into the (noteably long) story and my nephew was *enthralled.* (my father’s exact word) The following morning when my sister and nephew made a pit stop at my parents’ house on their way to work/school my nephew still had his book with him and wanted his Opa to read some more to him, which he did. Still more to read and my nephew couldn’t be happier!" Have a tour through a sampling of the pages in the delightful eco-fable by Starhawk, with fantasmical illustrations by Lindy Kehoe:   "This book is a gem. The illustrations are beautiful and charming and the story opened up a great conversation with my kids about honoring the wild as in wild places in nature AND in ourselves ( of course we are part of nature as well. But we often don't think about this when we hear the word 'nature'.) So my children talked about honoring the wild landscapes inside of us as well. It's a great story about uniqueness and non-conformity as well as taking action ourselves." The Last Wild Witch—Children’s Book • 34 full color pages, 8x10, Softbound • ISBN: 978-1-890931-94-0 $9.95
