The Killing Tide

This listing is for the standard edition Blu-ray. The limited edition slipcover (designed by Earl Kessler Jr.) was limited to 1,000 units and is sold out. The two versions are identical, aside from the slipcover. VHSHITFEST has been uncovering and releasing movies on video for over a decade, across DVD and VHS, and is now moving into blu-ray, with the same goal to showcase the most unique, crazy, and obscure movies that they've discovered through years of collecting VHS, allowing even more people to actually be able to experience these nearly lost gems in the best versions possible. A corrupt sheriff schemes with city officials to obtain lucrative lakefront property. In a web of lies and intrigue, the sheriff tricks two offbeat killers into murdering his partners in the deal, all in one night over the Fourth of July. The Killing Tide never received the distribution it deserved when it was originally released, sadly falling into complete obscurity. VHSHITFEST is so happy to release one of the all-time great low budget action films of the 90s and a soon to be cult classic. directed by: David Dubay starring: Steve Jones, Benedetto Sorrentino 1997 / 84 min / 1.37:1 / English DTS HD-MA 2.0 Additional info: Region Free Blu-ray New transfer from the original master Commentary with actor Steve Jones Interview with director David Dubay Interview with actor Benedetto Sorrentino Clinton River Chronicles (1995 Documentary) Japanese VHS rip with subtitles Locations featurette Trailer English SDH subtitles
