The Joker, Vol. 2 #1B (DC Comics 2021)

This 40-page DC Comics periodical delivers a transnational crime thriller starring the Clown Prince of Crime, presented as the Frank Quitely #1B variant edition and scripted by James Tynion IV and Sam Johns. Released in 2021 following the launch of Infinity Frontier, the lead narrative tracks the Joker fleeing overseas jurisdiction while multiple unknown syndicates track his movements across continents. Commissioner James Gordon, nearing mandatory retirement, orchestrates the pursuit as the closing chapter of his long career, gradually exposing covert organizations operating outside standard police authority. A complete backup feature drawn by Mirka Andolfo extends the narrative backward from Punchline #1. The secondary storyline confines the newly convicted antagonist within Blackgate Penitentiary’s interior layouts while Harper Row officially assumes the Bluebird costume to intercept her sibling’s strategic influence and prevent further criminal alliances.
