The Herb Eggs: Thyme

A fine art print of my original pen and ink drawing.  8x10 inches Textured, ivory cotton rag paper Printed with archival quality inks Hand-signed on back Includes copy of story Story Behind the Drawing This egg drawing belonged to a centuries-old book on herbs and plant-based medicine. In the book, the author instructed the reader on how to properly use eggshells for planting, a delicate but easy way to begin an herb garden. In the margins of the book, the author made notes about birds donating their hatched eggs to him after they noticed his other eggshell planters. This relationship between the author and the birds seems to have continued for the remainder of his lifetime — a fascinating study of the bird personality.
