The Good Shepherd

There are moments when life leaves us feeling like one of the ninety-nine, wandering and unseen. Austin painted "The Good Shepherd" to capture the reality that Jesus never sees us that way. He holds us tenderly, as if we are perfect, though He was the only one who ever was. He willingly offered Himself as the sacrifice so that not one of us would ever be lost for good. He truly is our Good Shepherd.
