A fine art print of my original pen and ink drawing. 11x14 inches Textured, ivory cotton rag paper Printed with archival quality inks Hand-signed on back Includes copy of story Story Behind the Drawing The Goldfinch is the third drawing in my bird series. These drawings focus on different bird species and the mood that each bird inspires. Goldfinches are lighthearted summer birds that enjoy flying. To me, they also have a royal connotation due to their namesake and coloring. In this piece, the Goldfinch hangs flowers from a royal Rococo frame, with a castle and valley in the background.
