The Gadsden

The Gadsden — A Little Bait with Big Attitude It’s the little soft plastic that refuses to be boring. The Gadsden, crafted by Taylor Magditch of Fish or Die Bait Company, started life as a custom drop-shot bait and promptly decided it wanted to do everything — Ned Rig, Damiki Rig, Neko Rig, you name it. Who it’s for: anglers who like precision rigs, occasional hero casts, and bait that behaves like it’s got a plan. Perfect for people who live the AXG Life — Life, Adventure-Ready — and expect gear that actually earns its keep on the water. Key Features & Design Purpose-built for drop-shot: Designed by founder Taylor Magditch specifically with drop-shotting in mind. Versatile application: Equally at home on Ned Rig, Damiki Rig, and Neko Rig setups. From Fish or Die Bait Company: A custom bait with pedigree — small-batch thinking, big-time performance. Performance & Benefits The Gadsden turns fussy fish into dinner and indecisive weekends into stories worth telling. Its shape and action — honed by a founder who knows rigs — deliver a natural presentation that draws bites without shouting for attention. Use it when you want subtle, lifelike movement on a drop-shot, or when you want a dependable flank in your Ned/Neko toolkit. Practical perks: it simplifies rig choices (one bait, multiple techniques), improves hookup rates for finesse presentations, and pairs seamlessly with your favorite terminal tackle. Built for midnight bait-and-search sessions, early-morning stealth approaches, and those questionable decisions that usually end with a great catch. How it Levels Up Your Fishing Improves finesse presentations so spooky fish feel comfortable enough to commit. Reduces tackle juggling — swap rigs without swapping baits. Makes your gearbag more efficient and your stories more believable. Ready to fish smarter, not louder? Toss The Gadsden in your kit and let it do the convincing — add it to your tackle and make your next cast the one they can’t ignore.
