The Francli Weekender Bag Pattern

About the pattern The perfect pack for weekend adventures designed by Francli Craftwear. Big enough for a spare pair of sneakers but small  enough to sling over your shoulder when you're running for the train. All seam allowances are 1cm unless otherwise stated. In two sizes. Skill level - intermediate.   Fabric Suggestions: Self - oilskin, dry oilskin, mid-heavy weight cotton canvas or drill, mid-heavy weight denim (8-14oz).  Base - heavyweight canvas, duck canvas, expedition dry oilskin, oilskin.  Lining - mid weight cottons and denim, barrier lining (if using dry oilskin, or oilskin).  Hardware can be found in alternatives - Water Repellent Zips, Painted G Hooks, Nickel / Old Brass G Hooks, Cut Leather Tabs, Webbing We also have a hardware kit available in two sizes, Fern and Sand colourways.   What you'll need MATCHING THREAD 2 X 2.5CM/1” G Hooks 2 X leather tabs or leather remnant (10cm/4” X 6cm/2.5”)  2 X rivets LARGE HOLDALL: 272cm/107” X 30mm/1.25” webbing 70cm/272” X 25mm/1” webbing 1 X 25cm/10” finished zip & 1 x 70cm/28" finished zip OR 2 X continuous zips, 1 cut to 29cm/112” & 1 cut to 74cm/29” SMALL HOLDALL: 218cm/86” X 30mm/1.25” webbing 64cm/252” X 25mm/1” webbing 1 X 20cm/8” finished zip & 1 X 52cm/20” finished zip OR 2 X continuous zips, 1 cut to 24cm/92” & 1 cut to 56cm/22”    Fabrics Pictured Overall Tan canvas with Sand webbing, Sand G hooks and Sand water repellent zips.
