The Flat Out Mini

*For International (non US) Buyers, your price now INCLUDES shipping!  The Flat Out Case and Flat Out Mini were designed by professional face painter, Rosie Bruni to meet her needs for a lighter, more portable, and flat face painting case. The Flat Out Case is meant to be used completely flat and was designed to operate as a mobile tabletop. The idea is that face paints are stored in the left (stationary) side of the case and tools are stored in the right (active) side of the case. The pressure of the items on the active side against the stationary side, when closed, prevents the items from moving around. Once placed on a flat surface, the stationary side remains flat while the active side opens 180 degrees to also lay flat. This completely eliminates the need for magnets or velcro to keep your paints in place! (Navigate to the original Flat Out Case page for videos of the concept in action) The Flat Out Mini is smaller than the original, making it the perfect travel case as it fits in most standard US sized rolling carry on bags for flight travel! Taking up less space on your table than the original, it also offers that quick, compact case option for those who work lighter and carry fewer materials to the job. The Flat Out Mini Case is nearly the same cost as the original to manufacture which is why the price is similar despite its smaller size, but don't let it size fool you, it is every bit worth the price in terms of functionality and quality! The Flat Out Mini case is ideal for artists who also provide other services, such as balloon art, as the shoulder strap allows you to carry the case hands-free so you can carry other items in one trip to your event. The Flat Out Case is not meant to be a replacement for other, larger, cases that offer included legs, wheels, inserts, etc, rather it is offered as an alternative option for those who are looking for simpler, smaller, lighter, and extra surface space out of a face painting case. The Flat Out Mini Case weighs approximately 5.25 lbs empty (mine is 11.75 lbs full) and is 16.5 in. long by 11.5 in. wide, by 3.75 in. inches tall when closed. When open, it measures 23.5 inches long, exclusive of handle/latches. The inside useable space per side of case is 15.75 inches x 10.65 inches. The interior depth of each side is 1.5 inches, meaning that the max height of any item cannot be greater than 3 inches, and this item must be placed on the left (stationary) side of the case when closing so that it can extend into the right (active) side of the case when closed. We recommend planning to use items that are 2 in tall or less. The active side of the case is designed to extend somewhat into the stationary side of the case in order to hold the items on the stationary side in place, so it's okay if the items on the active side extend past 1.5 in, as long as there is space to accommodate in the stationary side. Please see video example in the original Flat Out Case product page. Case comes with included optional shoulder strap.
