There are a lot of versions of its lyrics. But we have noted the new English version that has been popular and included the separate lyrics page in the PDF file for a sing-along. To learn more about "The First Noel," please visit our page, "Learn about The First Noel." Tips for playing Level 2 "The First Noel": In this Level 2 (very easy) of "The First Noel," you can stay in one hand-position for the entire song. After you download it, please locate the hand-position on the tutorial page. There is 1 black key that you do have to use with your right-hand finger-4 (ring finger) on F sharp (#). We wrote this song in the key of G major which the range for a sing-along will be comfortable for most people. In this arrangement, you'll be playing a melody notes and harmonic notes at the same time with both hands. Therefore, it requires a lot more coordination with right and left hands and different fingers than Level 1 "The First Noel." The fingering numbers are provided on all the notes. So, if it's difficult to read multiple notes at the same time instantly, please take advantage of the fingering numbers for this level. There is no repeat sign at the end of the score. However, if you wish to sing along the 2nd verse, please ignore the last note and repeat the whole song. When you want to end the song, please play the last notes with fermata signs (hold those last notes longer than actual value) longer to end the song.
