6HR, Limited edition. Printed Salt Lake City 2000. Including First Edition Original Page 1 Ne. 21: 8-26, 1 Nephi 22:1-5 Notes The First Mormon Book (includes an 1830 leaf) is a bibliographic and historical work centered on the very first edition of The Book of Mormon, printed in Palmyra, New York, in 1830. Rather than being a devotional text itself, it’s a collector’s and scholarly volume that explores the origins, production, and significance of that inaugural printing—often considered one of the most important religious publications in American history. The highlight is the inclusion of an actual leaf (a single original page) from the 1830 first edition Book of Mormon, making the book especially prized by historians, collectors, and libraries. These leaves are typically removed from damaged or incomplete copies and preserved to give readers a tangible connection to the earliest material form of Mormon scripture.
