It's not itchy! When I think of mohair I think of scratchy and furry. I know that's not a popular opinion, lots of people love it, but it's not a yarn I am drawn to. Cirro is lovely and soft, it can stand on it's own.  No need to be held with another yarn to create a lovely "mohair effect" and it has wonderful visual texture because it's a cotton strand wrapped in gorgeous Alpaca.  A skein of Cirro seems to last forever!
