The video was directed by Christopher DeNitto and features a series of public domain footage from war-ravaged Europe, perhaps a cautionary tale or hazy retro nightmare for these trying times. There are moments of beauty throughout the otherwise bleak imagery, a parallel for the song’s gorgeous and driving atmosphere."
