The Empath's Survival Guide Online Course - Online Course Only

A practical resource for highly sensitive people, sharing the skills needed to be healthy and empowered in today’s world  This is a tough world for sensitive people. From the constant bombardment of the 24-hour news cycle to the presence of untold numbers of visual, audio, and chemical toxins in our environment, those with naturally high sensitivity can become easily overwhelmed.  What’s an empath? Since you’re reading this, you probably already have a good idea. Empaths are emotional sponges who absorb both the stress and joy of the world, feeling everything—often to an extreme. Dr. Judith Orloff designed The Empath’s Survival Guide Online Course to make sure empaths get what they need to survive and thrive. Created as a companion to The Empath’s Survival Guide book, the course offers a hands-on resource for learning the skills you need to become healthy and empowered in a world that is often coarse, heartless, and disdainful of sympathy.  The eight-session, eight-hour course also provides information and tools for parents, families, partners, and friends who have an empath in their life. The more we learn to value both our own sensitivities and those of the people around us, the more we will be able to connect and support one another. Empaths and sensitive people face many unique challenges, including: Becoming overstimulated Feeling things intensely Emotional and social hangovers Isolation and loneliness Emotional burnout Expressing needs in intimate relationships Gender-specific challenges For each of these challenges (and many others), The Empath’s Survival Guide Online Course offers strategies and practices to help empaths overcome—and prosper—by unlocking the extraordinary gifts of sensitivity.
