The Doe Cheese

Made with rBST-free milk from Wisconsin, the Doe is a beautifully creamy cheese handcrafted and marbled with pure Madagascar Bourbon vanilla bean. A delicious play on sweet and savory, freshly ground whole vanilla beans are added to this bandage-wrapped cheddar and aged slowly to allow the flavors to balance and penetrate throughout the whole form of cheese. The end result is a savory and creamy cheddar with just the right hint of sweetness throughout. Pair with Bourbon, Cognac or even a cup of coffee! Taste with a glass of Champagne or Chardonnay. Serve with chocolate or serrano ham or try shaved and melted over an apple pie. American Cheese Society 2015 3rd Place Winner. International Cheese Awards 2015 Silver Award Winner. Deer Creek in Wisconsin carries on the legacy of cheesemaking traditions here in the US, crafting exceptional cheddars with award-winning skill in new and unique ways.
