The Dead - July 2003 Relix Issue

The July 2003 issue of Relix features our The Dead cover story and much more! Beginning with last year’s reunion at Alpine Valley, the remaining members of the Grateful Dead have kept on their long occasionally strange trip by continuing to create music together. Officially dubbed “The Dead” this past February, the band, with new singer Joan Osborne, is gearing up for a massive summer tour like the days of old. Veteran Dead correspondent Blair Jackson speaks to the entire band in an exclusive interview about the upcoming tour, the dissolution of Grateful Dead Productions and the dynamics within the new organization. This issue also contains additional articles and interviews with Warren Haynes, Yonder Mountain String Band, Donna the Buffalo, Dylan and The Dead, Alex Grey, Tool, the String Cheese Incident, Jane’s Addiction’s Perry Farrell, photos from the 2003 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and more!
