The Citadel Oracle

From best-selling author and illustrator Fez Inkwright comes The Citadel, a fresh take on oracle decks that is seeped in the magic of fantasy literature, Tolkien's Middle Earth, and tabletop gaming - a truly unique combination of storytelling and cartomancy!    Each of the 60 cards in this deck represents a person living within the Citadel. The guidebook describes different scenes that the reader will encounter while travelling through the city, including the stories of each character and the interpretation of each card. Specs 60 stunning octagonal cards with individually foiled fronts, printed on a matte-finish paper stock and illustrated by best-selling author Fez Inkwright. The Citadel was partially inspired by fantasy tabletop games like Dungeons & Dragons; the guidebook explains ways to use this deck in your tabletop roleplaying (create locations, craft NPCs or player characters, generate encounters and even in-game fortune telling!) An extensive guidebook detailing the meaning of each card, including exclusive spreads (The Sword, The Shield, The Citadel) to inspire your readings. The Citadel is segmented into four suits, each representing a stratum of the Citadel’s society: classes that populate different areas and levels of the city. Each suit, and therefore social group, expresses certain themes and imparts certain messages. Full-color hard slipcase design with magnetic clasp for a smooth opening feel of the deck and beautifully preserving the cards and guidebook. Compact and easy to travel with, and secretive illustrations to discover!
