The Chunk Quick Release Bracket

The Chunk Quick Release Bracket – Take Down Your Gear in Seconds If you’ve ever wished there was an easier way to remove your awning, water tank, or shower setup, meet The Chunk—your new favorite quick-release bracket. Built for overlanders, weekend warriors, and anyone who needs fast access to their gear, The Chunk makes it easy to pop off your mounted accessories in seconds. No tools, no hassle—just grab and go. This is a game-changer if you live somewhere without secure parking. Instead of risking that expensive 270º awning or side-mounted water tank, just unclip it and bring it inside. Store it safely in your garage or home when you're not out exploring. Even better? One pair of Chunk brackets can be used across multiple setups. Mount a set of brackets on your awning, another on your water tank, maybe even one on your shower kit—then just move the base mounts to whichever gear you're using that day. Modular. Simple. Smart. What Makes The Chunk Awesome: Quick-release action – detach gear in seconds Secure your gear when you can’t park safely Modular system – use one pair of brackets across multiple accessories Installs easily on your canopy camper, topper, or roof rack Tight, rattle-free fit that holds up on rough trails Proudly machined in the USA for long-lasting durability Recommended Accessory To complete your setup, we suggest using the Double-Locking Quick-Release Pin with Key – 5/16" x 2" from McMaster-Carr. It provides a secure, tool-free lock that’s easy to remove. This pin is optional, and we recommend purchasing it directly from our supplier at McMaster-Carr. While The Chunk is designed for quick detachment so you can store your gear safely in your garage or home, if you want added peace of mind while your accessories are still mounted, this lockable pin offers extra security. From city parking to mountain passes, The Chunk Quick Release Bracket makes your setup more flexible, secure, and trail-ready—because your gear should work as hard (and smart) as you do.
