The Button

"An impossibility wrapped in an impossible-to-forget visual. This ticks the boxes (and rings the bell)." - David Regal "Almost all Mystery Box effects have the same problem... the box has no reason for being there other than the reveal. The Button solves this in the most entertaining, engaging and brilliantly clever way that I've seen." - Lloyd Barnes "This is GOLD" - Henry Harrius "This will be trick of the year, no doubt about it" - David Jonathan "BEST version of this plot by FAR!" - Kyle Purnell "I genuinely think this is one of the most novel ideas I've seen in magic for a while. FANTASTIC!" - Eric Stevens "This is an absolute GEM!" - Rizki Nanda "Powerful, Commercial & Fun. I love this!" - Peter Nardi "This isn't just a great magic trick, it's the creative Performers Dream assistant" - James Keatley "Congratulations Chris, on what I believe will be the trick of the year" - Dave Loosley "'The Button' by Chris James is a perfect balance of method, plot and magic in one single device." - Justin Miller The Button is a revolutionary take on the classic Mystery Box, invented by Chris James with routines from Craig Petty and engineered by João Miranda Magic. At first glance, it looks like something out of America's Got Talent: a big red buzzer that demands attention. But inside this seemingly innocent object is one of the most powerful tools a magician can carry. This is more than just a gimmick - it's an entire system. With over 20 mind-blowing routines taught in detail, The Button gives you the power to create unforgettable moments of magic with just one press. And the best part? You don't press it - they do. Your spectator presses the button. A sound plays. Magic happens. Again and again. Suddenly, the sound stops. The button seems broken. But when you open it, inside they find their signed playing card. Every element has been crafted with working pros in mind. It's durable, reliable, and fully customizable. You can upload your own sounds to match your performance style. Use it for predictions, ambitious card routines, vanishes, switches, and impossible locations. The routines range from practical close-up miracles to stand-up showpieces. You'll also get a special section by Chris James, teaching you advanced switches that are only possible thanks to the ingenious internal design of the button itself. This isn't just another version of a classic. This is a completely new approach. It's fresh, original, and unlike anything your audience has ever seen.
