The Blazing Mister Sam

This woody fragrance is as assured as its golden bull topper would imply. A smoky base is softened with vanilla and creamy cedarwood. Keeping people on their toes, hot and cold spices and notes of black pepper warrant another head turn. Blazing Mister Sam—aka the loud and proud swashbuckling American—is a member of the Penhaligon's Portrait collection. The heritage-steeped perfumery was established in 1870 when a Cornish barber set up shop on Jermyn Street in London. Some 155 years later, the line is still imbued with British idiosyncrasy, and synonymous with royals, rebels, aristocracy, and the well-to-do. Key notes: Black pepper, cedar wood, cardamom.
