The Beatrice Dress 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

Stitch up a stylish party dress in two versions!  Create a sleeveless mini dress with round neckline and an optional bow or add statement ruffles at the shoulders with layers of gathered tulle or netting. The back closes with snaps or hook and loop tape.  The fabric is the star of the show in this simple design. Consider using fabrics with a little sparkle, velvety drama, or even a basic plaid cut on the bias for added interest. Sewing dressy materials may take a little more effort and know-how, but the effort is definitely worth it!  This PDF sewing pattern from Sew Maker Patterns is designed to fit popular 18-inch dolls such as those shown in the photos.
