The Amicus Book of ABC

Striking collage-style art made from maps and marbled papers illustrates the alphabet with both common and not-so-common examples in this sturdy board book for toddlers. Author/illustrator Isobel Lundie uses rich textures to illustrate words from Artist to Mermaid to Planet and Zebra. The descriptive language uses repetition that will encourage young ones to chime in on the reading, and each page highlights uppercase and lowercase letters in the corner. Perfect for toddler and preschool rooms at childcare facilities or to read at home, the books in The Amicus Book of… series are beautiful books to share with little ones just beginning to recognize early basic concepts of letters, counting, colors, and animals.
