The "Ale"pine | Goat Milk Soap

BACK FOR 2024 BY POPULAR DEMAND! When the guys originally asked for a bar of soap made using beer, I was like, "um, yuck!" And then I played around with it and did some research on "why?" What I found is, soap made using Beer produces a wonderful, creamy, conditioning lather and creates lots of bubbles. And while Beer is made with hops which are known for its relaxing properties, it also contains skin softening amino acids, which can soothe irritated and inflamed skin. Now paired with the skin-loving properties of goat milk and we have a killer bar of soap. Now, I didn't just go out to the ole' packy (what we call a liquor store here in New England) and pick out some random beer. Uncle Kevin brewed up his very own Ireland inspired Ale for this soap. I paired it with a smooth, earthy blend of orange, bergamot, clove, midnight orchid, oak and patchouli for a really rich bar of goat milk soap.
