The Perfect Acne Duo

A SIMPLIFIED, ACNE-SAFE APPROACH TO BREAKOUTS Acne improves when the routine is structured correctly,  not when more and redundant products are added. The Acne Duo by Biba Los Angeles is a simplified, acne-safe treatment system designed to help reduce breakouts without overworking the skin. Instead of layering multiple harsh actives together, this routine focuses on consistency, targeted treatment, and barrier-conscious acne care. WHY THIS ACNE ROUTINE WORKS PERFECTLY The Acne Duo pairs the Acne Wash, formulated with 2.5% benzoyl peroxide, with the targeted Acne Gel to help reduce acne-causing bacteria, clear visible congestion, and support clearer, more balanced skin over time. Benzoyl peroxide remains one of the most effective ingredients for acne when used within a structured routine rather than an aggressive, over-corrective approach. MANY ACNE ROUTINES FAIL FROM OVER-TREATMENT Many breakout regimens become too aggressive, inconsistent, or difficult to maintain. Over-layering active ingredients often leaves the skin dehydrated, reactive, and more prone to persistent breakouts. Acne-prone skin often responds better to consistency and structure than constant product switching. This routine was designed to simplify acne care while helping maintain better skin balance and tolerance during treatment. If you are unsure whether your products may be contributing to congestion, explore the pore clogger checker tool or browse our acne tips blog for additional guidance on acne-safe skincare routines. WHO THE ACNE DUO IS FOR Designed for oily or acne-prone skin, the Acne Duo works well for those looking to simplify their routine or introduce benzoyl peroxide gradually.
