That First Day

In his latest collection, Brian Rattiner blurs the boundaries between external landscape and internal emotion, allowing forms to emerge that feel both familiar and unplaceable. As impressions of landscape dissolve, their essence is distilled into color, gesture, and a sense of shifting atmosphere. His paintings release sensory associations tied to memory and place, creating open-ended spaces where viewers can find their own resonances. Guided by melody and movement, Rattiner's process imparts a quiet rhythm to each work, giving shape to the subtle energy of a moment.
