Its polished finish gives extra shine to the pure white stone, bringing a translucent and enticing appearance that helps make small spaces appear larger. We guarantee that the simplistic look of Thassos marble tiles will never truly go out of style! From tried-and-true white kitchens to classic kitchens with medium to dark wood tones, or even ultra-modern ones with glossy and lacquered cabinets, a Thassos tile backsplash can pair well with any décor. Despite the hardness of stone, Thassos marble tiles create an airy feeling in the bathrooms that makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. Imagine designing a floor-to-ceiling marble shower tile with a glass shower door that has matte black door frames! In a monochromatic bathroom, combine a Thassos vanity backsplash with white marble tiles of different shapes such as a timeless marble hexagon tile on the floors to bring a dynamic feel to your room. You can create a design statement with this timeless white marble tile, and dress it up or down depending on the style you want to achieve! To offset the crisp appeal of white marble, incorporate some warmer touches through your accessories and fixtures. We’re in love with the look of Thassos White marble tile that’s carried from counters to soaring ceilings for a dramatic impact! You’re probably picturing this subway tile laid in the usual horizontal brick pattern. But did you know you can also lay this subway tile vertically—or even in a herringbone or geometric L-shaped pattern? Ditch the uniform look with a creative layout, or bring a little edge to your white marble kitchen or bathroom backsplash design with dark grey grout to make your tiles stand out. It's also important to create reflective moments on your kitchen backsplash with under cabinet lighting, so you can further showcase the beauty of your stone’s pure white quality! White marble may contain naturally occurring iron deposits that can lead to discoloration if used in areas prone to wet or damp, or if exposed to harsh chemical cleaners. As this is an inherent feature of the material, Tile Club does not assume responsibility for discoloration of marble or other natural stone tiles. To ensure you enjoy your white marble tiles for years to come, we recommend installing them in areas that are not prone to standing water, and regularly sealing your tile and grout.
