This hand-woven, one-of-a-kind piece showcases authentic Anatolian heritage through a flatwoven construction, faded patina, and distinct abrash detail. Featuring an overdyed finish, low-pile, no-shed, high-traffic durable, layering-friendly, underfloor-heating safe, reversible weave, soft-touch, distressed character, ghost-pattern, 70s craftsmanship, cotton-polyester blend, single-piece artisanal, and sun-bleached tones. About This Style Vintage rugs are defined by an aged aesthetic, often featuring faded tones, abrash colour variation, and distressed surface treatments that reveal the foundation of the weave. These pieces frequently incorporate a central medallion motif or dense floral compositions derived from traditional Ottoman and 20th-century Anatolian designs. Many vintage rugs undergo an overdyed process, which leaves a ghost-pattern of the original design visible beneath a saturated colour wash, resulting in a unique, aged character. Where It Works The flatwoven construction makes this rug suitable for high-traffic areas such as hallways, kitchens, and living zones. Its thin profile is layering-friendly and safe for use over underfloor heating systems. Why Choose This Rug? — Features a central medallion motif surrounded by intricate floral elements, capturing a distinctive 70s craftsmanship aesthetic. — Composed of a cotton and polyester blend, where cotton provides breathability and polyester adds durability and moisture resistance, suited to everyday use. — Designed with a flatwoven construction or no pile, allowing the rug to lie flat against the floor for improved safety and maintenance. — These rugs reference the Anatolian hand-weaving tradition; each piece is one-of-a-kind, with minor variations in colour and pattern that are characteristic of vintage-style production. — Practical for high-traffic environments and compatible with underfloor heating due to its durable, thin-profile weave.
