Tex Mex Rub & Seasoning

Tex Mex Rub Everything a great Tex Mex rub should be and nothing it shouldn't. This carefully balanced blend brings together the bold, smoky depth of ancho chili and chili powder, the earthy warmth of cumin and coriander, the savory foundation of garlic and onion, and the brightness of real lime peel and sun dried tomato — all tied together with a touch of honey powder that adds just enough subtle sweetness to round every flavor into something cohesive, complex, and completely addictive. At a mild heat level it's genuinely family friendly — all the bold, confident flavor of great Tex Mex cooking without the burn that sends half the table reaching for water. The lime peel and sun dried tomato work quietly in the background, brightening the blend and keeping every bite tasting fresh and alive rather than heavy or one dimensional. Use it dry as a rub, or mix with any of our EVOOs to create a wet paste that penetrates deeper and creates an extraordinary crust on grilled or roasted proteins. Use it on everything: Flank steak, skirt steak, or carne asada — the classic choice Tacos, fajitas, and burritos Burgers topped with fresh avocado and grilled peppers Grilled or roasted chicken — whole, spatchcocked, or thighs Shrimp and fish tacos — a natural and brilliant combination Roasted sweet potatoes, corn, or cauliflower Chicken tortilla soup — stir generously into the broth Scrambled eggs or breakfast burritos Grilled or roasted vegetables of any kind Try this wet rub: Mix generously with our Cilantro Roasted Onion EVOO into a thick paste and rub all over chicken thighs or flank steak. Let marinate for at least an hour — overnight if you can wait — then grill over high heat. The result is the best taco meat you have ever made and the recipe everyone at the table will demand. The Olive of Morganton label. Mild heat, maximum flavor. Family friendly and endlessly versatile.
