TetherPro Optima 10G USB-C TetherBoost Locking Extension Cable, 16’ Orange

Extended Reach. Locked-In Performance. The TetherPro Optima 10G USB-C Locking Extension Cable is built for photographers and filmmakers who depend on fast, uninterrupted tethering. With a generous 16-foot (4.8m) length, it gives you the freedom to move your camera exactly where you need it—without sacrificing speed or stability. Whether you're on a commercial set, in a studio, or shooting on location, this extension keeps your workflow smooth and responsive. At the heart of the design is Tether Tools’ SecureLock system, engineered specifically for professional image makers. When paired with a TetherPro Optima cable tip, the locking mechanism clicks firmly into place and resists up to 22 pounds (10kg) of pull force. A visible orange indicator confirms the connection is secure, so you can focus on directing talent and dialing in lighting instead of worrying about dropped connections. Full-Speed Data, Even at Distance Maintaining performance over longer cable runs is critical on set. Inside the Optima 10G Extension, dual integrated TetherBoost Pro chipsets preserve blazing-fast 10Gbps transfer speeds, delivering reliable image data from camera to computer. Designed to minimize signal degradation and eliminate power delivery interference, this extension helps ensure stable tethered sessions from the first frame to the last. Built for the Realities of Production Production environments are rarely gentle. That’s why this extension features a rugged octagonal housing designed to withstand pressure from carts, foot traffic, and busy crew movement. The durable polypropylene inner sleeve adds strength, while the kink-resistant exterior protects against wear and tear over time. Soft-grip cable tips with clear camera and computer labels streamline setup and teardown, keeping your workflow efficient. Modular Flexibility for Any Setup The Optima 10G Extension integrates seamlessly with the full range of TetherPro Optima cables. Combine it with 20-inch, 3-foot, 6-foot, 10-foot, 15-foot, or 31-foot cables to build a customized tethering solution up to 63 feet (19.2m). It’s also backward compatible with all USB-C devices, ensuring versatile use across evolving camera and computer systems.
